Just to let people know. who may have known him, that Kevin 'Snake' Lovis from Broken Hill Passed away the other day. A wonderfully talented and gifted poet, Snake was coming into his prime and getting invited to Gympie and the Longyard before falling ill. Once a regular at the Mildura Country Music Festival with myself and Bob Magor, Snake has left a wonderful legacy behind in both printed and recorded work. You will be missed mate!

Always sad to see another poet pass on Keats. I goggled Kevin up and there is a great audio on the abc with Kevin performing a poem called Tell Me A Story Grandpa.

Sounds great and must have been a nice bloke. Condolences to his family.
