If you go to the ABPA Home Page top left of this page.

Takes you to Home page.

Click on Poetry, at top of page

Yarn Spinners' Corner

click on link below this to Australian Yarn Spinners.

Not sure how you add a yarn though. Might have to contact Manfred for that John.

Heather :)

G'day Manfred.

Mate, tooooo hard.

All you have to dooo is open a new forum. :D

Named. Members Yarns. The forum is open to members only.

I know a lot of members at ABPA have a lot of yarns to share.

Look at Neville for instance. A high ranking Police Officer.

I bet he could spin a few true interesting stories. :D

And what about yourself. You have an interesting background. You are a true blue. :D

Mate, I have hundreds of stories.

I bet, Marty, Ross, Zondrae, Heather, Bob and all the others can write something interesting. :D

Yep. I can write poetry, you can write poetry. However, (and I stress) poems are hard to write.

A well drafted story will beat a well crafted poem hands down. :D

Just my opinion.

Regards,

John

A lot of the poems I perform could well be yarns as well and visa versa. Some I use as yarns in particular when I'm still learning them and want to test the water so to speak. I for one can sit and listen to a good Bullshit artist all day.

Yep, Bob so can I.

The Greeks did the same things.

The Romans did the same thing. THey sat around in a senate and listened what had to be said.

Then there were the Germanic thinkers (Saxons) who conquered Britian and msde us who we are: Anglo Saxons.

Yep! Anglo-Saxons as you and me relate a Germatic background.

The main thing to remember--is this.

We as Australians without any fear. Can stand up in front of a crowd and say what we bloody well want to say. :D

Regards,

John

No we can't!
The politically correct brigade put paid to that particular theory long ago.
