Sunday Morn

Post by Bob Pacey » Sun Mar 22, 2015 8:45 am

MMMMM another boring Sunday Morn. apologise to Julie Andrews.

Washing and ironing and dusting and cleaning
so many things that in life have no meaning.
I should be out fishing with the joy that it brings.
these are not really my favourite things.

Writing and editing, sticking in piccies
coffee is cold and the dogs ate my biccies
phone calls , and trolls are upsetting my day
on days like this I just don’t want to play.

When the clouds break and the sun shines
then it's not so bad.
I drop all my chores and head down to the beach
Then I don't feel sooooo sad.

Lucky for you mate your day sounds appealing
I’m stuck with a cat who has my dogs squealing
Harmony no longer does here hold sway
Pandemonium is ruling my day

Take a chill pill. Mauze, or maybe a cuppa
There's plenty of time between breakie and supper
Bait up the hook, Bob, and go wet a line
Sunday's too good to be moanin' and cryin'.

Another Sunday and many have passed by
nothing much changes that’s no reason to cry
I’ve just been shopping with friends at Ikea
now I am chilling with fresh prawns and beer
