The Filly From Burnie.

There was movement around Canberra for the word was on the town
that a feisty Burnie filly was at play.
she said I'll not be budging and no bills will pass on through
till our armed forces get more pay today.

On this she was quite adamant and some say “rightly so -
these blokes and sheilas trade their lives for bucks
and yet get paid a pittance – it is obviously wrong
when pollies get big dollars … yes it sucks”
