We need to pacify Matt and keep him calm
??? That sounds a bit patronizing to my ears - what is he a 2 year old ??? We all on occasions have been guilty of having the odd dummy spit - usually least said soonest mended I have always found and this forum has never, NEVER been guilty of some of the rubbish, bad language and bad mouthing that so many other sites are plagued with. We are all adults here, all capable of sometimes robust discussion, all mature enough to take such discussion on board without considering it as a personal vendetta against us and/or our feelings or differences in opinion.

All of a sudden out of left field that seems to have changed, there seem to be underlying currents that most of us are unaware of and personally I find that disquieting and unnecessary. Seems to me that all combatants should retire to their 'naughty corners' and draw a breath.

Let's get back to concentrating and working on improving our poetry

Would anyone else like to add their thanks to Manfred?

Of course. Manfred took on a challenge and reconstructed the site when the "old" site rode off into the sunset somewhere. I'll give a vote of thanks due to Manfred for his work .

Hi Mannie, I haven't been on here for quite a while due to the hours in every day flying by thanks to moving house etc., so I've only just seen this. Thank you so much for your hard work and dedication to this site over the years, as well as your friendly, personal assistance to me at various times. I sincerely hope you know how very much we all deeply appreciate what you've done - and we will certainly all miss you! xx

I had posted a thank you to Mannie last week-it seems to have gone missing..

A BIG thank you Mannie for all the work you have contributed to the forum. You will be sorely missed but I'm certain you will find many ways to fill the valuable time now added to your daily timetable.
Cheers

A HUGE thank you to Mannie for his years of dedication to us all. Perhaps you can now create more of the wonderful lyrics you have been having such success with....in peace!

All the best for your future poetic adventures.

I remember back when the internet was new to many and there were self giving members who did their best to provide a forum
for many to post on and enjoy sharing our verses and such.

Many thanks to all of them for their efforts throughout the years.
