Nothing is moving the forums so quiet
I'm thinking they all might be dead.
Perhaps I'm the one who just has no life
so I think I'll go fishing instead.

I check every day to see whats been done
but there was only posts by Cath yesterday.
Perhaps they are all pigging out on chocolates
I got none so what can I say.

Well if you must know young Robert, I've been doing just that,
Trying to catch myself tea,
It meant travelling and camping which I surely don't mind,
Just me old fishing buddy and me.
We landed a few, they're all cleaned in the fridge,
I smoked some as well just for fun,
I have packed up my gear and done a few jobs,
So I might rip the lid offa one!

Great stuff and I enjoyed both poems but Ross you have missed one of the rare opportunities to use off and of in the same line:So I might rip the lid off a one! Might have been, "So I might rip the lid off of one!"
Before you say anything.... I think it is called being pedantic.

Isn't " off of one " a Yankism.
