Just to give youse an update on the position of the 'old' Forum ...

The 'old' Furum has been uploaded onto the ABPA Server - all 47,000+ files. So the files are all intact. However as it's not sitting on a DataBase anymore, the searching facilities are VERY limited. What that means is that we can 'click' onto a link page, then, click on another link within in that new link-page and that's it!! We can't go any further. So drilling down to search is limited to TWO deep at the moment.

We are looking at ways to rectify this to search the WHOLE (old) Forum ...

I could put up a link now, but it would create more frustration then joy ... :(
As soon we fix it, the 'old' Furum WILL be made available ...

Thank you for your patience ...

Cheers,

"Them" (that's me, according to Zondrae :) )

Morning, Oh Illustrious Leader,

(I was going to say 'Fearless Leader' but that is a bit too 'Rocky and Bullwinkle'}

I was not sure who was working of the 'puter side so I only cited 'they'.
Question (from a not very cluey computer user) is it possible to have a link (?) whereby - if you search a members name you come up with a list of their poems - selected from the 'Members poetry' only section? (that happens automatically)
I had a long time dear friend find my poems (about a year ago) by this method, so they were well up to date with my writing, before they contacted me directly.

G/day Manfred & Marty,
I suppose the other option is for those of us still around to post again what we can remember of what we posted in the past. It would probably be a poor substitute for original but perhaps better than nothing, just a thought.
With the recent discussions on what constitutes publication there is very likely to be fewer new poem's posted that might be being considered for comps. In the past several of us posted many poems that were later entered into comps.

Cheers Terry
