Yes, Dave it has to be a certain size ... if your picture is too big, pull your boot of and whack it a bit to flatten it (make sure your missus sees that) ...

If you're having problems, send it to me and I'll pull my thong off and flick it a bit and we'll see if that helps ....
Otherwise if you think your pic is the right size .....
Go to "User Control Panel" top right ... then
click on "Profile" (on the left hand side this time) ...
"Edit avatar" ... then
"Upload from your machine" ...
... and boom boom ...

				I'm with you David,
Don't know how to resize and it is no good sending a photo of my left ear. Crop alone won't reduce the actual size, only the amount of the photo that is viewable.

				...
Youse'll all probaly laugh at me.....but I hit
'send to mail recipient' & a wee window pops up asking if you want their size reduced....yep!....then when my 'email' draft pops up I just move the reduced pic to the desktop & muck around with it from there. Necessity is the mother of invention, & I've become quite resourceful in the absence of proper like education....
(Merv's link is probaly the way to go..?? G'daay Merv!)
