Does this mean we have to wear a red suit with green socks and white shoes to do poetry proper ?

I find this approach a bit paradoxical - bringing out a book that says the internet is the way of future reading :?

It's just a version of an old idea.

Michael Faraday apparently lacked high education, he taught himself by carrying around a notebook in which he wrote down a note about anything that he heard or read or saw that he found interesting. He accumulated a hoard of knowledge that made him one of the greatest of scientists.

In Faraday's case his collection came from everyday experiences, in the case of this presentation the collection is trawled from the Internet by someone who wants to sell us his collection.

We could probably do just as well by looking up our own interests and making our own book of bits and pieces.
