FLYING THE FLAG

Post by Maureen K Clifford » Mon Sep 19, 2011 11:24 am

Have heard it said on several occasions that other poetry sites aren't interested in going down the Bush poetry path - thought you might be heartened to know that it is not the case here.

This is the site that asked if Jasper Brush and myself would run a Bush poetry workshop. As a result of that The Ballad of Kate Hall sprang to life last year.

They have just revamped their site and once again asked if I would do a couple of pieces on Bush Poetry which I have - Fair Dinkum Bush Poetry and Travelling Light and along the way gave ABPA and Mannie, Jack Drake and Muzza a heads up...Bush poetry has even won a few Poet of the Week awards on this site :o    what is the world coming too ;)

Looks interesting Maureen. I found that site a bit hard to navigate, I don't visit many web sites so my web/education is sparse.
