Who's quote?

Post by warooa » Tue Jul 19, 2011 3:41 am

Found this scribbled in one of my scribble books (just of recent). . . does anyone know where it came from?

Yeah I reckon you had a flash of wisdom in your sleep and wrote it down Marty.

I believe it came from a modern day poet with an oversized ego full of fancy words and expressions, and who likes to write stuff that no one understands - which makes him feel important because he is the only one who understands what he is saying!! ;)

Nothing wrong with bush carpentry - an one who can make a shearing shed and a stable that has stood for over 100 years without using a single nail has my respect. Would doubt any modern tradesman could achieve such a result.

Bush carpentry endures - Bush Poetry endures. May not always be flash and fancy but is always given grudging respect, and some even like it..
