Good to see you back on the forum Myra. Busy catching up with work now to keep the tax man happy. It really is a bad time of year to go away.

Heather :)

G'day, I know it's been a few weeks since I shared your company even if the time was well spent.
But I must catch up catch up with friendly rhyming folk in the linking home world of the internet.
The latest book, The Mystery of Morgan Towers is a 60 paged book for early teenagers. Written by Thelma Driver over fifty years ago is probably the last, (maybe) of her stories published. The story is a mystery adventure and pictures are black and white pen and ink drawings.
I still have about another dozen floppy discs and notepads to transcribe, but all are on hold for the time being.
After two heart attacks in the last four weeks she spent two weeks in the Hospital in the city and last week they transferred Thelma to an ACH nursing home. My concentration of work and determination, ‘to get this one done’, is due to the rapid decline in Thelma’s health. At least the nursing home is in her hometown and only allows supervised family contact, and not for them come and go as their need demands. Her friends and her fellow church members visit and share time.
I will deliver Thelma's latest book to her this week.

I am now getting back to my poems and writing, but first I will make a new post that might be of interest to others and if not or inappropriate Zondrae can 'DUMP' it.

Oh Yes, when not posting poetry I am....., Eliza

There you are Bob, it's all out in the open

Hey Bob my ex MIL was a Myra and she was truly a pearl beyond price - Myra is a beautiful name - meaning fragrant oil or myrrh

hey Maureen,

I didn't know that; another useful piece of knowledge to file away for future use.
I always thought Myrrh was bitter and used for embalment.

:) Hi everyone,
Thought I'd let you see some of my pages as I haven't been posting much poetry lately.

The flowers are wild flowers growing in the garden here, but some are Australian and some are immigrants maybe some are asylum seekers. I thought I would paint the world's wild flowers for this poem.

I will improve the visuals if I can, OK re: size
