A pleasing response to what I had considered somewhat difficult prompts, but those poets who participated in the poetry writing pastime, seemed to do so with no difficulty at all. Well done everyone.
Here are my next suggestions for your writing titillation - it will be interesting to see what journeys and different pathways these words might lead us all on. They are all sure to be very different.
A circle of diamonds
a yard made of mallee
painted in colours of parchment and gold
webs of golden threads
hungry and penniless
digging for gold
Everyone is welcome to have a go at the writing prompts. If you wish perhaps write a short story instead of a poem - a prose poem if you will. Everything is shared in the spirit of friendship. There are no harsh critics here.

I may not always succeed in making a difference, but I will go to my grave knowing I at least tried.
