A good suggestion has been received for this section of Homework, and that is to write an 'older persons' response in rhyme to the following lines from
Sir Walter Raleigh .....
"But true love is a durable fire
In the mind ever burning.
Never sick, never old, never dead,
From itself never turning "
of course if you find that too difficult, which I doubt any of you mob out there would, then let us see if you can put together a romantic love sonnet - a poem of fourteen lines, typically having ten syllables per line. using any of a number of formal rhyme scheme that you choose.
Go to it my fellow wordsmiths, and dazzle everyone with your romantic side
