Very concise and apt, Neville.

I'm still having no success with my attempts - long after the homework deadline!!

Thanks Maureen and Shellley. I have a book by Andrew Lansdown called Allsorts. He is an Australian poet, who writes a lot of Japanese style poetry it's marvellous stuff and quite hard to do right. Andrew Lansdown has a number of books out on gentle style poetry. His latest is Kyoto Momiji Tanka, Poems and photographs of Japan in Autumn.
