I've been promoted - how exciting. Manfred has asked me to post the subjects for November, so if you don't like them you can all blame me, but I hope what I have chosen will inspire your poetic talents to great heights..

So for our first week lets run with - no make that fly with - 'cause according to Manfred I'm the pigeon.

Getting this lot to come up with a poem a week may be hard going.
Are there any rules (other than the usual site 'be polite' general limits on normal socially acceptability)?

Well someone has hoisted a challenge at last.
It's been sorely needed. Can't let it go past.
He won't cause me shame or to turn my face red.
I guess I will have to find words in my head.

I can't bow to Marty, (the one called the 'boy')
I won't be embarrassed, won't give him that joy.
Now what was our topic, that's right 'Fly the coop'
I'll have to get thinking to stay in the loop.

(sorry but it did only take five minutes.)
"I will have to try harder" mmm reminds me of Sr. Evo. my fourth class teacher making me write on the blackboard 50 times....
