My heart is touched each time I see upon my Facebook screen
a whiskered face, with liquid brown eyed charm.
A soul who's lost ... bewildered by the barbs that life has thrown
towards them. Please help keep them safe from harm.
A friend beyond compare perhaps is staring from that page
I see courage without ferocity.
And what a difference just one week can make to that lost soul,
kindness and love will fight adversity.
So treat them kindly, give them care and time to come around
security will make the pieces fit.
A dog is the only true love that cold hard cash can buy,
they'll steal your heart .... and it won't hurt a bit.
***This was the picture on my FB screen of my little bloke Khamah-D Blue, that won my heart. His green squeaky bone was his sole possession and he guarded it fiercely. Now he has lots of toys and cuddles and has a sister who adores him. He has become a much loved member of the household in the 15 months that I have had him.

It is not hard to speak out for them when you love them. I have always found with my animals, be it dogs, horses, sheep even chooks that the love they give back repays in spades anything that we do for them.
