No time for homework!

Post by Wendy Seddon » Wed Aug 16, 2017 9:40 am

Sorry all,
I have found myself in the position of working 2 jobs at the moment.
Can't find time to think about homework this time.

Thought you might like this tribute to my friend Gwen who was killed in a car accident 2 weeks ago.
I sent this to her husband. He said he and his family will treasure it.
That's what our craft is all about isn't it?

GWEN

When you walk, walk with purpose – just like Gwen.
Walk tall, stride out and don’t stray.
When you walk, be a guide and a beacon to all
as you gather the lost on the way.

When you speak, speak with wisdom – just like Gwen.
With forethought, compassion and care.
When you speak, speak with prudence but listen as well
to the small, quiet voice waiting there.

When you love, love with passion - just like Gwen.
Love freely, expect no return.
When you love, love sincerely and hold nothing back,
three times what you give, you will earn.

When you pray, do so humbly – just like Gwen.
Petition with faith from your soul.
Your reward will be miracles, graciousness, strength,
and your life here on earth will be whole.

You’ll be welcomed to heaven – just like Gwen.
Through God the Son who frees us.
The angels will party, they did for Gwen,
who walked, talked and loved just like Jesus.

A very fine tribute to a dear friend Wendy - well done. Don't work so hard that you have no time to smell the roses :D

So sorry for the loss of your friend, Wendy - but so good that you were able to harness your grieving thoughts into a tribute for her. I'm sure her family would have been very touched and appreciative.

As Maureen says, don't work too hard. Life deals us too much pressure these days.

Take care of yourself :)

Cheers
