workshop 28/1/2014

Paw Prints On My Heart

As you travel life's highway you may meet a friend or two
someone whose company is always sweet.
People who will help you when you're lost and feeling down
troubled times they help us all defeat.

I found a friend ten years ago when times were really tough
My heart is now touched every single day.
A dogs love asks no questions it is given free of ties
and with us it is always sure to stay.

Your best friend when you need them always close at hand
with a cuddle or a pat the tears can start.
But they will always be there through the good time and the bad
as they leave their precious paw print on your heart.
