My Green Whizzer

MY GREEN WHIZZER
© M. Pattie 2013

Look at my green whizzer,
it’s looking rather sickly.
I can’t get it to stand up
when it used to rise so quickly.

It got put where it shouldn’t,
and now it pays the price.
My sad and sorry whizzer;
It is not looking too nice.

My shrivelled up green whizzer,
sits flaccid in my hand.
I oh so gently stroke it
but it’s too far gone to stand.

Oh prostrate pickled whizzer,
You bring tears to my eyes.
You’re green and non respondent
and attracting several flies.

I can’t revive my whizzer,
my wife has even tried.
My languid limp green whizzer,
I’m sad to say has died.

Maybe it will come back?
And once more rise again,
but my green whizzer’s dead
and don’t I share its pain.

I cannot believe that this brilliant piece of work could have attracted 16 views without so much as a hint of a comment.

Many a time have I pondered the cause of a flaccid green whizzer only to be amazed at it's miraculous revival.

Thanks Marty

Phew!!!! - I breathed a sigh of relief when I got to the end and saw the photo you have no idea what my mind was thinking   It was on the 2nd reading (with understanding  ) a cheeky little poem, good fun.

I have never heard of or seen a green Whizzer so today is a good day - new information gleaned and retained.

Good to see you fronting up for a challenge Marty. Thank you. :D

Cheers

Maureen

I enjoyed that Bob . Down south we call them Cicadas they come in mid brown and dark brown and are noisy little fellas when they sing in a group.

Yeah they've got pretty cool names. We've also got the Northern Greengrocer and the Double Drummer 8-)

What else could a sad and sorry green whizzer be but a poorly cicada? :)
