HOMEWORK PROMPTS FOR WEEK ENDING 10/12/12

Post by Maureen K Clifford » Tue Nov 27, 2012 7:11 am

Thank you to those who had a shot at the last prompts – it is always lovely to see folks participate in this segment of the forum and hopefully gives those with a bit of writers block perhaps a little lubrication to get going again. The poems that come from this segment are always interesting, and the efforts are appreciated even if there are no grand prizes on offer.

Congratulations to all of those who made it into the Bronze Swagman book this year as well.

Let’s see where you can go with these – something from left field perhaps? Put those thinking caps on and see where your imagination might lead you and then let the words flow

open doors

wet and windy

rainbow leaves

smiling puddles

sound of laughter

empty evening

and perhaps a little extra for you - auto suggestion

I may not always succeed in making a difference, but I will go to my grave knowing I at least tried.
