LOVE BEGINS WITH M
My big girl means the world to me
And I to her as all can see.
How she has struggled over time,
Always been that one step behind.
Life to her has been less than fair
I know – for she is in my care
And always for her I’ll be there.
Joy there is now in many ways
And love for free – no money pays
Not one cent in currency gold
Ever equals true love we’re told.
Can she fulfil her canine dream?
Life’s twists and turns are cruel it seems.
Inside she’s courage of a lion
From time to time a will of iron.
For me she is subservient
Or knows I’m boss – that’s the intent,
Respects that when I curse and yell
Dire threats come with kisses as well.

I may not always succeed in making a difference, but I will go to my grave knowing I at least tried.

Well Done Maureen,
And a fairly long one as well.
I suppose if we were dinkum our replies would be in the same format / Perhaps not!
Keep up the good work.
