Greetings Fellow Forum-ers ...
It's time I gave you an update, along with my apologies for my lack of involvement in Forum activities of late.
My dear husband had open heart triple bypass surgery almost 2 years ago, and spent 12 months recovering. He was just starting to feel well, earlier this year, when he suddenly experienced symptoms which led to a diagnosis of esophageal cancer. Since then we have been on a never-ending rollercoaster ride, involving radiation, chemotherapy, and most recently, a month in Royal Brisbane hospital for an arterial bypass graft due to a blood clot which formed behind his right knee - the result of cancer-induced changes to the blood.
We have just returned home and he is shortly to resume his gruelling regime of radiation and chemotherapy.
So as I'm sure you will understand, while I have certainly not lost interest in poetry-related activities, my priorities have drastically changed as I support him through this ordeal, one day at a time. I will continue to look in on the Forum as and when I am able. Keep up the poetic content!
Best Regards
Shelley

Hi Shelley
All your efforts must be directed in supporting your husband during these difficult times,
plenty of tomes for poetry when life gets back to something like normal.
Meanwhile I'm sure I speak for all forum users, when I say our thoughts are with you both.
