Natures Garden

Natures Garden
Let me take you by the hand
and lead you through the gate,
I'll show you many wondrous things,
that nature did create.
For there are many treasures
in the garden to behold,
and if we tiptoe quietly,
its secrets will unfold.
Lets take a seat upon this log,
and see what we might spy,
a little lizzard darts away,
I think he's rather shy.
And over there a butterfly ,
has come to say hello,
I'll pick for you a dandelion,
now make a wish and blow.
We'll walk on through the flowerbeds,
their perfume fills the air,
'Whats that' you say, 'a lady beetle',
'Whoops' it's on your hair.
Let's peek into this sunflower,
What treasure do you see,
a busy little money spider,
weaving merrily.
A green frog jumps out of the pond,
right before our eyes,
he knows he must be quick now,
as he makes his lunch on flies.
We'll lie down on the soft green grass,
our eyes turned to the sky,
now what's that flying overhead,
why it's a dragon fly.
The buzzing sound of busy bees,
as they fly overhead,
to gather up the pollen,
to make honey for our bread.
The blackbird sings his pretty song,
high among the branches,
his warning us his nest is near,
as back and forward he dances.
So now I hope you realise,
the treasures you can find,
In mother natures garden,
come and visit anytime.
For nature is a wondrous thing,
we must not take for granted,
just take some time to visit her,
I'm sure you'll be enchanted.
