ANZAC DAY

Post by Neville Briggs » Thu Apr 25, 2013 9:41 am

ANZAC DAY

Who are those men
of a far off place
on that dim cold April dawning.
Solemnly summoned
by the bugler's call
as the colours dip in mourning.
Did they have zeal
for a noble cause,
or ideal, or holy passion.
All gave their lives
for their country's sake,
Only some had lives given back.

good one Neville, its a great day for the nations pride, and remembering Australian diggers in all wars and the sacrifice they made.

Duncan.
