It's All Passed Me By

I wish I were bigger and stronger and faster.
My grandkids are telling me I’m a disaster.
Of athletic feats I was once a grand master,
but these days it’s all passed me by.

I wish I had fast cars and money to burn.
For big boats and mansions I constantly yearn.
‘Cause I grew up without ever getting my turn.
What a buggar it’s all passed me by.

I once thought I had a one thirty IQ.
There were so many things that I wanted to do.
But my brain took its leave. Now I don’t have a clue.
What a shame that it’s all passed me by.

Time was I had vigour; get up and go.
I was bright eyed and bushy tailed; all parts aglow.
Then I noticed libido was starting to slow
and now even that’s passed me by.

There once was a time I could win that hot chick.
My memory says it was such a great kick.
But my wife says I’d need a much bigger wallet.
Yep! These days it’s all passed me by.

Thanks all I enjoyed writing this one. Buggar Maureen ... I'd say it was a typo but I've used it too many times so I'll blame diminished ability to notice these things. Very p...ed as have always taken pride in mi speling eckspirteez.
