A TOTAL CROC

You lurk in the shadows just waiting to strike.
Your eyes are unblinking - reptilian like.
I won't live in fear for the rest of my days.
Please spare me from your crocodilian ways.

Like lizards and dragons, there’s ice in your veins.
To hide your emotions, you go to great pains.
You cold blooded creature, no warmth I can raise.
Please spare me from your crocodilian ways.

The least provocation, you're ready to snap.
You keep one eye open when you take a nap.
You weigh much the same as a big' salty' weighs.
Please spare me from your crocodilian ways.

Your skin is as rough as an old scouring pad.
Your belly still full from the last meal you had.
Your teeth seem to glint in the sun's morning rays.
Please spare me from your crocodilian ways.

You grab me and tell me that it's time for bed.
I'm scared that you'll death roll me till I am dead.
Pulled under the covers, my head's in a daze.
Please spare me from your crocodilian ways.

Oh, spare me from your crocodilian ways.
