Re: in the end

Post by Maureen K Clifford » Wed Feb 16, 2011 6:15 pm

Am I picking up the end of a relationship tinged with regret - and the ending not as one would have liked ???

I liked the brevity of it - matches the feeling if I am correct of an ending where all the words have been said and nothing more can be added.

I liked this Matt

Cheers

G'day,

I have this theory that you can find a Beatles lyric for every occasion..

Good to see you posting something Matt. I must admit it is a bit hard for me to get my head around it, I have read it a number of times and it's not easy. It sounds good, I'll keep at it until I find the way. You've given me something to think on, that's the sign of a good poem I reckon.

Strewth old mate,
With those sobering well written lines I think I know where you're coming from, shall be in touch.
Ron.
