No John. You're remarks were well meant and I would hate to think anyone took them any other way. The poem is based more on what was an old urban myth at the time and the fact that someone did something similar is purely coincedence. Stil is always interesting to watch the faces of the audience when I perform it and the women sometimes cheer at the thought of a female getting her own back.

I'm a bit behind the times and have only now read this. A fabulous poem.
Sometimes with long poems I lose interest half way through and never finish them.
Not so with this - had me in from go to whoa. Better entertainment than going to the movies.
