G/day David,
You're right mate, and the media don't help either if jouro's were picked on form they'd all be dropped, they have certainly got most things wrong in recent times.

Cheers Terry

You're right on the money there Terry . . when they picked the four quicks and left Beer carrying the drinks (what a pun!) there were howls from all and sundry about not picking a specialist spinner. The silence is deafening from that lot now that the selectors seemed to have got it right with all four quicks doing an excellent job . . and showing a good old-fashioned bit of Aussie mongrel.

How bout this

Young Puppy Clarke has journo's saying 'make him our next Skipper'
But them same scribes are saying 'bring back Warnie and his flipper'
But Pup is flat out scoring - can he even get a single?
He's not the same young Pup since he split up with Lara Bingle

Bring on Boxing Day I say

Cheers, Marty

Spot on Marty,
I think we should ban our cricketers from associating with women until their careers are over, it messes with their minds mate, Look what it's done to Warnie, he's now addicted. or should that be texted, or both?

Cheers Terry

Hi Terry got a problem with that queastion after a day in the field trying to find gold (or runs) what better way to relax than to be with your wife or girl friend
she's a mongrel chasing cattle and to come back to the station and be on your own mate

Thats why they made dogs Bill - they can generally run faster than the missus, are much better at blocking and heeling and don't jump up and down and scream when a cow charges at them either. And then at end of day as long as you give the dog some tucker and a scratch behind the ear and a kiss he is happy to lie on his blanky shut his eyes, shut his mouth and snore. Now let me tell you about women Bill - they can't .......Oh never mind just trust me - get a dog

Cheers

Maureen

G/day Bill,
My wife prospected full time with me for about ten years and without a doubt that was the most enjoyable time I've had while prospecting. I'll re post the poem I wrote about that time. It's called 'When You Were By My Side' and it won the Boree Log Comp this year.

Cheers Terry

You mean there's more than one of you Maureen? Is that "other" Maureen still living at your place? :)
