The old bag of sand or a body for that matter in the boot really levels out the ride marty.

Mad Mick,

Where have you been. When are you going to post one of your beautiful poems?

I've been in a beauty salon to see about a "makeover".
Went in around the start of Jan and I just got home yesterday.
AND THAT WAS JUST FOR THE QUOTE!

Hey Marty I have often wondered about this exact same problem myself - one of the reasons I don't fly or do boats and also look at verandahs and decks on high set houses with a degree of caution. Have also wondered about lifts where the sign says they will carry
x amount of people. Now is that thin people, fat people, morbidly obese people???? reckon the floor should be a scale that tells you when the weight limit is reached.   That couldn't be too hard to do. And what about roller coasters? Surely the same principles of weight related loading would apply but no one ever seems to try for equal weight distribution.

All that aside I think your sonnety poem has opened up a can load of worms in regards to this issue - could it be used as a teaching tool in the Workplace Health and Safety area??? I think it would add a weighty argument to their lectures.

Cheers

Maureen
