hey I just cooked a roast chicken dinner and it is beautiful. If they ever have a master chief for Mc Cains meals I would win hands down.

I have so many things on the go at the moment that I almost missed this beautiful poem. Here, you have demonstrated that there is nothing static and stayed about well written Australian Bush Poetry. I wish all the toffee nosed literati who poo-poo bush poetry (or rhyming poetry of any style) could read this. That would show 'em. The theme is exquisitely handled and it is both uplifting and thought provoking.
